How well we've done,
says the setting sun
Spot-lighting the peninsula homes
like a city of gold.
How well we've done,
says the silken wave
Lolling along the shore
Receiving a galumphing dog
Without maternal fuss
How well we've done,
the thoughts in our heads
Of giants,
of dust,
of wonder-lust
How well we've done!
To walk without riot
To swim without drowning
To play without rules
To smile without cameras
How well we've done.
Very cool - sun and all
ReplyDeleteWhy thank you kind sir..., thank Google for the sun.
