Wind breathes
its name: 'ooooo'
into the night

Insect wings
amphibian sings
breathe busy        
out of sight

Husband close
breathes through his nose
I don't have the heart
to roll him over to his right

I breathe too
quieter than the night
all the better to listen
to this breathy thing called life.
